Citizenship Government Immigration Services | Reverse Job Listing Service
A navigator is someone who is in charge of making sure that you are traveling in the right direction. The Syndicor Immigration Navigator™ is the person responsible for navigation of a client (typically, a Job Ready Immigrant) in social networks, through employer-jobseeker relationships and on a local job market.
this man was Einstein's immigration navigatorAbraham Flexner (1866-1959), the founding Director of the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton University. Flexner, who became a very influential progressive figure in American education reform, was the person who navigated Albert Einstein to the USA. In 1932, Flexner arranged a job placement for Einstein and invited Einstein to become a guest professor at Princeton. At the time of Flexner's invitation, Einstein had dual citizenship - German and Swiss; he became US citizen 8 years later, in 1940. Nobel Prize-winner Einstein needed not only a job placement service, but also a letter of recommendation from Abraham Flexner in order to apply for US work visa at the US Embassy in Berlin in 1932. |
